Flora Clendenin Vintage Oil Painting of an Embracing Couple

A dynamic oil on board painting by Flora Clendenin (1901-1996), who was was self-taught and is listed in Edan Hughes’ Artists in California, 1786-1940. It depicts the image of a couple embracing. It is signed to the lower right corner, set in a linen mat and presented in a carved wooden frame. Dated 9/9/1960 to the verso.
Condition
good- wear to frame and mat, painting has minor chips.
