A Gansu painted pottery Neolithic jar. This jar is from the Yanshao culture, who existed near the Yellow river in China from 5000 to 3000 BC, and dates to 4000 to 3000 BC. This piece features a rotund body that is embellished with a circle pattern painted in black, a flared neck, and two handles.
