Equestrian Fox Hunting Prints

Item Details

A pair of antique framed equestrian prints depicting scenes of fox hunting. The prints are colored aquatints, dating from 1828. One is titled Going to the Cover and the other is titled The Death. Both were engraved by Charles Bentley (English, 1806-1854) and illustrated by Henry Alken (English, 1785-1851). Published October 1,1828 by S. & J. Fuller in London. Both are presented in mahogany frames with matting.
