Antique Sewing Desk with Recessing Sewing Machine Platform

Item Details

An antique wewing desk with a recessing sewing machine platform. This desk has a rectangular top with a beveled edge and a panel on the left side with a metal, bar pull that flips up to expose lower, recessed sewing machine platform. The platform has holes where a (most likely iron) sewing machine was once attached. To the right are three drawers with metal knob pulls and dovetail joints. The top drawer has five angled file separators that fit in slots in the side of the drawer. The desk sits on six graduated pedestal feet with tapered base.
