A Five Dollar Note from the Confederate States of America. The Virginia State Capital is in the center. A Portrait of C.G. Memminger in in the lower right. Hand signed and numbered. Serial Number 71350. Issued on February 17th, 1864 from Richmond, Va. A blue overprint is present to the verso with “5” to center and “5” to the four corners. See pictures for more details. Approximately 7 1/4′ × 3′. Circulated. Fair condition.
