Early Rookwood Tankard / Pitcher with Pig Painting
Item Details
A Rookwood Pottery tankard / pitcher, featuring a hand painted image of two pigs, laying content in the grass, attributed to artist, Matthew Daly. The covered lid with silver overlay and bezel mount, has been broken into nine pieces. The handle has been repaired, Marked with the Rookwood Pottery mark, ‘564 D’.
Condition
- to poor, having a broken lid, (pottery with silver overlay) and repaired handle with four joints. Lid broken in nine pieces.
