An original watercolor painting by listed artist Francis William Van Vreeland (American, 1879 – 1954). The piece depicts a Dutch family traveling by horse and carriage along a shore line. Signed in the lower left corner. The verso is marked 5237 / 4680. Unframed. Francis William Van Vreeland has ties to Cincinnati. In the early 1900’s, he worked at the Rookwood Pottery Company and also studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy. For information on the artist, please see Additional Information tab.
