An antique Turkish marble hammam basin. The art form of making marble basins was introduced to the Anatolia region of Turkey approximately 800 years ago when the Seljuks moved to the area. This Turkish Hammam basin is made of marble and cut into a rectangle with scrolled front side. The bowl is oval shaped with a scalloped edge. There is a hole in the back center of the bowl for water drainage and has a cutout to either side for storage. Could be used indoors or outdoors.

- basin has small chips throughout.
