Vintage Weighted Sterling Silver Urn

A vintage weighted sterling silver urn. The urn has a trumpet top and scrolling floral and foliate decoration; it is engraved with a calligraphic letter D, and the years 1890-1940. The piece celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Dark of Buffalo, NY. It is marked as weighted sterling to the bottom of the base.
