Reproduction Scrimshaw Walrus Tusk
Item Details
A reproduction scrimshaw walrus tusks which reads, Taken from Dead Walrus, Oct. 17, 1841 in a roundel and flanked on either side by a carved walrus. It also reads 1st Mate, T. Bowers. The tip displays with a cannon and an American flag. The reverse has a carved ship and on the tip WHALER PRINCE. This piece is displayed on a wooden frame.
