A Mary C. Smith, Table Top Still Life with old Paris Porcelain, c. 1855, oil on canvas. This painting was purchased from a reputable dealer in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and has a history of being painted by a young woman attending Science Hill Academy. Documentation included. It is presented without glass in a gilt wood and gesso frame with oval presentation window. The frame is carved and features foliate style medallions in relief at each corner. It includes a wire to the verso for hanging.
Condition
Wear is commensurate with age and use.
