Mid-Century Modern Nemschoff Rocking Chair

A mid-century modern rocking chair. The circa 1960s hardwood rocker, marked ’The Peabody Collection by Nemschoff Chairs, Inc., was manufactured in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. (A tag attached to the frame marks the chair as being catalog number 952, finish number 4.) The rocker has a clean-lined, curvy frame, with rounded armrests. The chair back is caned, and the seat is fitted with straps that support vintage upholstered box seat and back cushions with piped edges, in a multi-colored synthetic tweed fabric. Condition
Vintage, used condition. There is an area on the seat frame with damage, which has been taped. The wood and upholstery may show light scuffs or wear, consistent with normal use and age.
