A vintage 22K gold plate German tea service. This set of porcelain dishes has a 22K gold plate exterior to each piece along with a painted center depicting a Victorian couple lounging outdoor and framed by a swirled gold design. The set includes a tea pot with a removable lid, a sugar bowl, a creamer, three teacups and six gold rimmed saucers. The underside of each piece is marked ‘HK Bavaria Germany Handarbeit 22 Karat Gold.’ HK are the initials of Horst Kuba, son of Josef Kuba the famous Bavarian porcelain maker in the early 20th century, and this mark was used between 1972 and 1989.
