Early 20th Century "Red Star Line" Fan

A folding hand fan commemorating the Red Star Line, a commercial ship company that operated from 1871 to 1935. This paper and wood fan commemorates ships that sailed between Antwerp and New York. The paper has printed images of a cruise ship with Dutch on-lookers from shore. This fan has pencil writing from the owner dating it to Sept. 1908.

Condition

- for age. The fan has tiny tears to top at folds paper separating from wood to the back side.
