Antique Eastlake Fainting Couch
Item Details
An antique Victorian Eastlake-style fainting couch, or chaise longue. This piece features arrow-shaped burl wood veneer details on its back, carved wood legs, back, and arm, porcelain wheels, and red and white devoré velvet upholstery. A partially intact tag on the back indicates it was manufactured by H. A. Hoffman & Co.
