An antique Jacob Doll upright piano. Known for quality, Jacob Doll and Sons was established in 1871 in New York, first as Jacob Doll, and made pianos until 1931 when they closed as a result of the Great Depression. The spinet piano case of this piano is ornately hand-carved and decorated. Inside the piano is the manufacturer’s name and serial number, 81833. Pictured is the front piece to the piano. Also included is the bench and some music. The piano is playable, but does need tuning.
