An original late 19th century oil painting on canvas of a young man with newspaper. The piece has muted hues of brown and blue, showing the young man standing with legs spread, holding a newspaper under one arm, and a cigarette in one hand. Signed to the bottom right reading ‘T.G.Brows’. The painting is housed in a vintage, ornate frame with pierced filigree borders and gilt finish. Comes with a lamp to the top frame. Ready to hang by wire.
Condition
- some damage to the frame and some wear and spotting on the verso. Patches on canvas present on back.
