Antique Ansonia Mantel Clock

Item Details

An antique cast iron mantel clock by Ansonia Clock Company, circa 1882. It features base metal casing with a black finish, carved floral and foliage, red painted sides, beveled glass paned door, porcelain dial, black Roman numerals, and more. The clock has a door to the verso revealing the movements which are marked ‘Ansonia Clock Co Patented June 14 1881 New York, U.S.A.’ and ‘Patented June 1882’. The clock includes a key and pendulum; clock only runs for a short time period.

Condition

- hairline cracks to dial; runs for short period of time.
