A pair of original acrylic on canvas paintings by artist and actor Titus Welliver (1961- ). The larger piece is a depiction of a snowy mountainside, populated with large and small evergreen pine trees, boughs covered with snow. The light casts the tree shadows onto the mountain with bright pale blue and white snow drifts. The sky is a deep, rich steel blue. The smaller canvas is a similar scene, with a dark, night time mountain covered with trees under a striated, cloudy sky. Each piece is signed and dated to the verso. Titus Welliver is the son of listed artist Neil Welliver and fashion designer Norma Cripps, and is known not only for his own paintings but for his voluminous roles in feature film and television. He is presently starring in the Amazon Original Series, Bosch.
