An Elmer O. Stennes grandfather clock. This grandfather clock features a curved, pierced pediment atop with three brass toned finials that can be removed. Above the clock face is a ship sailing on an ocean that should move when the clock is in working order. The clock face features Roman hour numerals, Arabic numerals in seconds, two pierced handles, small seconds clock, and marked, ‘Elmer O. Stennes. Weymouth, Mass.’ There is raised gold toned scrollwork to the corners of the face. There is a door below the clock face that comes with a key. When the door is opened the pendulum is revealed and the interior reads, ‘Telephone ED 5-3323. Elmer O. Stennes Clock manufacturer. One Tick Tock Lane. Easy Weymouth, Mass’ and to the clock head parts ‘H POULSON Antique Art 213. Danmark.’
