A lithographic reproduction print after the original drawing by listed Cincinnati artist Caroline Willams (1908-1988), titled The Delta Queen. The image depicts The Delta Queen riverboat floating down a river. The artist’s signature is printed in-plate to the lower right and the title is printed at the piece’s base. The print is set behind glass in a thin black wooden frame. A sawtooth hanger is attached to the verso. Caroline Williams worked as a sketch artist at the Cincinnati Enquirer from 1932 until her death in 1988, at the age of 80. Williams lived in Burlington, Kentucky where she owned Penandhoe Press.
Condition
- light scratching across frame. Print is very slightly warped.
