1960s Ideal Motorized "Astro Base" Space Toy With Original Box
Item Details
A 1960s Ideal motorized ‘Astro Base’ space toy with original box, having a red and white plastic housing with clear dome top. Has a yellow and blue plastic ‘Scout Car’ that plugs into Astro Base. Box states toy has a motorized viewing screen which shows space ships in flight, a motorized boom with space hoist that raises and lowers electronically and a remote controlled motorized scout car. Tested and not in working order, operates on four ‘D’ size batteries.
Condition
- to poor, having dirt and debris, with cracking to base and clear top dome. Tested and not in working order. Box is worn with denting to sides and some staining. Broken and/or missing parts.
