"Harvest Talk" Lithograph after Charles White

A Harvest Talk lithograph after the 1953 charcoal original by noted African American artist Charles White (1918-1979). It features two imposing African American farmhands talking in a wheat field as one sharpens the blade of his scythe. The piece is double matted and set in a black wooden frame with silver tone accenting behind glass. White gained a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago in 1937, and later worked for the Federal Art Project of the Works Progress Administration. This was one of six charcoal pieces that were exhibited in the ACA Galleries of New York in 1953.

Drill holes in the frame; some minor discoloring to the matting
