An antique wooden Anchor Brand washer by William Blackstone, circa late 19th-Century. This antique hand-operated washer features a hand crank lever attached to a wooden barrel that opens on one side to reveal the washing bin and a wringer to the other side with cast iron gears and hardware. It is marked ‘The New Pan-American Washer by William Blackstone’ to one side and ‘Anchor Brand Guarantee’ to the wringer.
