Antique Spanish Coin Belt
Item Details
An antique Spanish coin belt. This unique belt features silver over copper construction, length of 28’, a layered cascading design linked by a chain to the upper and lower sides, and a hook closure. One side of the coins reads ‘Real’ and the other side reads various dates such as ‘1895’, ‘1896’, ‘1897’ and ‘1898’ with a mountain scene. The buckle reads ‘Libertad 15 de Setiembre de 1821’ translating to ‘Freedom, September 15, 1821’.
