Richard Hess Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph

A signed limited edition offset lithograph reproduction of a painting by listed American illustrator Richard Hess (1934 -) titled Join the Family, originally created for a Minneapolis Zoo promotional poster. The image depicts a woman and a large group of humans and animals standing in close quarters staring straight towards the viewer. The poster is signed, dated 1978, and numbered 282/400 in pencil in the lower margin. A printed note at the base says that the piece was printed in Champion Papers Carnival Antique 100 lb. paper. The piece is presented behind glass in a thin silver-tone metal frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.

- to fair with significant warping across the print. Light scratching across the frame.
