A pair of framed Otto Van Thoren original landscape oil paintings. Otto Karl Van Thoren (1828-1889) was an Austrian artist known for painting smooth landscapes with figures and animals, and then placing them in an oval, gold setting with an ornate frame. One painting depicts three women near a pond with a grand building above them and the second painting depicts a woman and child walking through a wooded landscape. Both paintings are displayed in ornate gilded frames with oval cut outs. Artists signature to the lower right. Hanging hardware to the verso.
