An original oil on canvas impasto painting by well-listed American artist Lee (Reynolds) Burr (Califfornia, 1936 -). The painting depicts a butterfly floating past a patch of flowering grasses; teh print is depicted in abstracted neutral forms. It is signed to the lower left. It is presented in a gold tone bamboo frame with a hanging wire attached to the verso.

“Lee Reynolds was simply a trade name. It was attached to numerous artworks and designs at Vanguard Studios. Vanguard Studios was the largest distributor of decorative art in the world at the time.
