This agreement between right winger Jim Pappin and the Chicago Black Hawks shows he played for a base salary of $42,500, and it is signed by Pappin as well as the third president of the National Hockey League, Clarence Campbell, Black Hawks owner Bill Wirtz and their manager, Tommy Ivan.
