A Memphis Group modular dresser unit by Peter Shire (b. 1947). Comprised of six stackable and interchangeable black wood units with purple circular metal hardware. The Los Angeles based artist Peter Shire was the only American member of the architectural and design team, the Memphis Group, which started in Italy in the early 1980s and was known for their bright, experimental, post-modern style.
