Vintage Scientist Safe Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Scientist safe cabinet. Made in Marietta, Ohio and previously functioned in a Chicago bank, this large steel safe cabinet by The Safe-Cabinet Co. has a Yale lock to the door. A plaque above the lock reads ‘Underwrites Laboratories inspected safe class B no. 3137,’ meaning the cabinet was inspected to be able to withstand fire. Originally on four casters, the safe is now missing one.
