An original Le Corbusier armchair. In 1929, Le Corbusier turned the traditional armchair inside out. With the LC3 chair, also know as Le Grand Confort Armchair, he put the frame on the outside of the chair, as part of the design element. The resulting timeless style makes these chairs still sought after nearly nine decades since they were first produced. This item has the distinctive LC3 makers mark and serial number 007004 This item matches item #16BOS025-010.
