Vintage Signed Hans Erni "Die Fohlen" Lithograph of Fighting Horses

A signed and numbered vintage lithograph in four colors by listed artist, Hans Erni (Swiss, 1909 – 2015). Piece, titled Die Fohlen, 1993 (The foals), depicts two spirited stallions at battle. It is hand signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right with low edition number of 37/200. Presented in a painted gold tone wood frame under glass with off-white matte. This accomplished artist only recently passed away at age 106 in 2015. Erni was strongly influenced by the works of Braque and Picasso and created works of many types as a muralist, painter, graphic artist, illustrator, engraver and sculptor.
