A pair of Beatrix Potter’s storybook porcelain figurines featuring ‘Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’, ‘Mr. Jeremy Fisher’, and ‘Tommy Brock.’ Potter (1866-1943) was an English author, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist who is best known for her children’s books. Her most famous, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”, is the story these characters are based on. These figurines are ‘Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’, ‘Mr. Jeremy Fisher’, and ‘Tommy Brock.’ Manufactured by Frederick Warne & Co. and made from Beswick England porcelain. Their markings indicate they were issued from 1955 – 1972.
