A Beatrix Potter’s storybook porcelain figurine of ‘Peter Rabbit.’ Potter (1866-1943) was an English author, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist who is best known for her children’s books. Her most famous, “The Tale of Peter Rabbit”, is the story these characters are based on. This figurine is ‘Peter Rabbit.’ Manufactured by Frederick Warne & Co. and made from Beswick England porcelain. It’s markings indicates it was issued from 1955 – 1972.
