An original watercolor on tissue paper mounted to regular paper and coated in wax
by 20th-century American artist and author Edna Wagner Piersol. The image depicts a woman leaning against a split-rail fence, posing for her portrait to be captured. The painting is matted in white, behind glass in shadowbox-style wooden frame. A hanging wire is attached to the verso. A sleeve to the verso contains a copy of the artist’s resumé.
