A Lane Colonial Low-Boy cedar chest. The mahogany Chippendale style chest has a gadrooned edge, hinged top, three false molded drawers with Chippendale style pulls, above a lower section with gadrooned molding, a single shaped drawer with carved apron supported by four claw and ball feet with carved knees. The cedar interior is fully stamped for Lane and has a lock.
