An early-20th century hand-colored stone lithograph after a painting by well-listed English artist Arthur John Elsley (1860 – 1952), titled Wide Awake. The unique image depicts a young girl seated on a picnic blanket with a large Saint Bernard. A stunning forest landscape and the shores of a body of water surround the pair, creating a picturesque backdrop. The print’s title is printed to the lower center margin of this piece. The print is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with cast embellishments and black finish. A hanging wire is attached to the piece’s verso.

- very light cracking and loss on frame. Light wear at edges of print.
