A limited edition serigraph by well-listed Conceptual artist David Roth (Connecticut/New York, 1942 -), Untitled 2, 1980. The print is marked in pencil artist’s proof number 3 in an edition of 25 to the lower left. Artist signature and date are signed to the lower right in pencil. Roth explores formulation in color, his compositions situated on an underlying grid. The graphs he executes are proportioned according to a strict mathematical formula and the images are composed according to horizontal and vertical divisions on graph paper. Roth’s original works have been exhibited over the years at numerous galleries, from New York to Los Angeles, from Paris to Stockholm.
