Early 19th Century Cherry Step-Back Cabinet
Item Details
An early 19th century, two part constructed step-back hutch from cherry wood. To top a protruding trim above dentil molding and double glass cabinet doors with two fixed shelves behind. The cabinet below houses a single long drawer with hand cut dovetail above cabinet storage with single shelf. The hutch is embellished further with kite shaped wood inlay to escutcheon and inlaid rope banding to lower unit at top and base. Comes with purchase receipt from Creekwood Antiques Cincinnati, Oh in 1983. No key present.
Condition
- break to glass pane, wear to drawer corners with wood loss. Wear to finish. Key not included, lower unit is in locked position.Dimensions
