A Hitchcock black painted and stenciled maple bench. The bench has the classic design featuring gold floral and foliate design to crest. There are gilt accents to spindles, arms, legs and stretchers. The rear seat edge is stenciled, ‘L. Hitchcock. Hitchcocks-ville. Conn. Warranted.’
