A Lorenzo Ghiglieri (American/Oregon, 1931-) bronze sculpture titled Prize Catch from 2003. This sculpture features a golden eagle with a trout in its talons and is attached on a wood oblong stand. Signed (incised) Lorenzo Ghiglieri # 132/200 on base of bronze. Ghiglieri is considered one of the most renowned and prolific artists of the Northwest. Lorenzo’s work graces the walls of the most prestigious establishments in the world. His sculptures and paintings have been presented to Pope John Paul II at The Vatican in Rome, President Ronald Reagan at the White House and King Juan Carlos of the Royal Palace in Madrid.
