A 1976 framed original acrylic on canvas of The Garden in Autumn by listed artist, Tadashi Asoma. This abstract landscape scene depicts gently rolling hills with brown tree branches interspersed and forest of green to the center background. Asoma used pastel hues of green, blue, orange, purple, and white. Signed by Tadashi Asoma to the lower left corner, ‘Asoman. ’76.’ This rectangular piece is housed in a wood frame. To the back there is a small informational on Asoman and marked, ‘Findlay Galleries. Asoma. ’The Garden in Autumn’’ There is a wire to the back for hanging. Listed artist, Tadashi Asoma, (1923 to present) was born in Japan and received a scholarship to study in Paris. After Paris he moved to New York with his family. He is known for abstract landscapes.
