A pair of Rosie Reds items are featured. The word ‘Rosie’ actually stands for ‘Rooters Organized to Stimulate Interest and Enthusiasm in the Cincinnati Reds’. The organization was formed in 1964 when Reds fans were convinced that the team was leaving town. There is a vinyl red and white purse that is adorned with the Rosie Red logo on both sided. There is a plastic seat cushion. The cushion is all red with the one side decorated with the Rosie Red logo and ‘Rosie Reds’. The purse dates to the 1960s, the cushion is newer, probably the 1980s.
