A vintage aquatint with a la poupee coloring and gold leaf border by well-listed American contemporary artist John Beerman (Greensboro, North Carolina, 1958 -), dated 1958 -), titled Pink Clouds and dated 1989. The print depicts a flat grassy area preceding a large body of blue water, pink clouds rolling above in the blue sky. It is signed and dated in pencil to the lower right and marked printer’s proof #3 in pencil to the lower left. The print is mounted behind white mat, under acrylic glass, in a simple wood frame. Beerman’s work is included in the collections of numerous reputed galleries and museums, including Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, the Portland Museum of Art, Maine, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
