An original oil on canvas painting by listed artist Rick Ball (Sydney, Australia, 1954 -), titled Jairu’s Daughter’s Dance, dated 1989. Signed and dated in paint by the artist to the lower right. The painting is mounted in a beveled wood frame with an exterior gold leaf finish. The piece is titled, dated, and signed by artist to the verso. Rick Ball studied at the National Art School and Sydney Teacher’s College. A painter and a writer, he held his first solo exhibition in 1986. He has won several awards and his work is represented in numerous municipal, institutional and private collections.

- rounded wood paneled border around painting is separating at top and bottom right corners. Finish of frame is worn.
