Antique Persian Brass Brazier

Item Details

An antique Persian brass brazier, circa 19th century. This beautiful piece is constructed from solid brass with a decorative finial over the pierced dome lid. The cooking surface below features two curved handles attached to the scalloped rim, and below that is a ribbed column with a hexagonal foot. This foot stands on a broad, round brass plate with wooden planks hidden underneath.

Consistent with age. Minor dents on lid with small cracks in the rim
