An M.C. Waite framed oil on board painting titled The Bluenose & The Elsie. Well-known for his seascape and marine paintings, M.C. (Malcolm) Waite (American, 20th century) depicts the two ships side-by-side on a windy day at sea. It is painted on board, signed to the lower left and professionally presented under a dimensional fabric fillet in a gold tone wood frame with a wire to the verso for hanging.
