Guyol Bronze and Crystal Sculpture "Allegro"

Item Details

An original 1997 verdigris bronze, crystal, and acrylic sculpture in five parts by very well-listed Canadian sculptor Guyol (1935-), titled Allegro. The man portion of the sculpture is made by three twisting bronze seaweed shapes, one topped by a playful tropical fish. A crystal sea anemone sits at the base on a square black acrylic base. The piece is signed and numbered 6/700, incised on the base. Two dates are pressed into it as well; 1982 is when the mold was created, and 1997 was when this sculpture was created. More information about the artist can be found under Additional Information.
