Sam Francis Limited Edition Ceramic Plates
Item Details
A boxed set of four ceramic plates based on designs by very well-listed American modernist Sam Francis (1923-1994), titled 4 Monotypes. The plates included are numbered SFM 82-071, SFM 79-082B, SFM 82-063, and SFM 81-004. They were originally sold by The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. The plates are stamped with their serial number and ‘The Sam Francis Estate, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles’ to the verso. They are stored in their original gray and red cardboard box.
